AXE, part of Unilever’s Digital 2.0 initiative, needed to relaunch its global web presence while ensuring consistent brand, accessibility, usability and SEO standards across thousands of properties. The challenge was to raise digital experience quality, maintain compliance and eliminate time‑intensive manual testing during a complex, large‑scale rollout.
Unilever implemented Crownpeak Digital Quality Management (DQM) to provide a single, integrated view of site quality and run comprehensive pre‑publication checks. DQM flagged over 8,000 issues during the build phase and reduced that to 220 by launch, eliminated blocker errors, improved brand consistency and user experience, dramatically cut manual monitoring time, and quickly moved AXE to the top of the quality leaderboard.
