Heathrow Partners with Crowdvision to Optimise Passenger Experience in Real Time

Heathrow Airport selected CrowdVision as its Passenger Flow Analytics Partner to help improve passenger experience and operational efficiency across its terminals. The airport’s challenge was to better understand crowding, queues, utilisation, and passenger flows in real time so teams could respond quickly and plan more effectively.

CrowdVision implemented its automated pedestrian analytics solution, using live video from existing cameras to deliver real-time dashboards and historical insights on waiting times, occupancy, and flow patterns. The system has already delivered early benefits in Terminal 2/Airport Operations Centre, and Heathrow expects it to support faster interventions, better forecasting, improved capacity optimisation, and more collaborative operational decision-making.
