A CrowdStrike Case Study
Central National Bank of Waco is a community commercial bank with four Texas locations, more than $1 billion in assets, 15,000 customers and about 100 employees. Facing heavy regulatory scrutiny, the bank’s CISO identified a reactive, labor-intensive cybersecurity posture—manual threat management, limited visibility and costly processes—after an incident during a forensics audit exposed gaps in detection and reporting.
The bank deployed CrowdStrike Falcon Complete managed detection and response (with additional Falcon modules) to provide cloud-delivered, 24/7 monitoring, automated remediation and clearer alerting and reporting. The solution reduced noise, correlated attack simulations with real findings, eliminated high-severity incidents since deployment, improved visibility for audits and compliance, and gave the team greater confidence in protecting customer assets across ~200 endpoints.
