Garant Tiernahrung, the leading Austrian animal feed producer with three sites and around 200 employees, runs 24/7 production to supply farm animals across Austria. Their primary IT security challenge was ensuring uninterrupted operations and meeting strict food-industry requirements while reducing the administrative burden caused by a signature-based endpoint product that required quarterly reboots and hundreds of exceptions.

Garant deployed CrowdStrike Falcon, a cloud-native, AI-driven platform, rolling out the lightweight agent to 300 endpoints via MS System Center in about a week without reboots and with seamless parallel operation. The switch cut endpoint exceptions from roughly 300–350 to three, eliminated downtime for security updates, allowed secure cloud management of isolated plant control machines, improved inventory visibility and administration, and strengthened confidence in continuous production availability.
