A Crowdstack Pro Case Study
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEsConnection), led by founder Jane Stevens, runs a community-of-practice to prevent ACEs and promote trauma‑informed, resilience‑building work. The organization needed a central, reliable online hub to consolidate research and practitioner activity, migrate its network off Ning without disrupting members, and scale local groups — so it chose Crowdstack Pro’s community platform and migration support to manage the move.
Crowdstack Pro handled the migration with clear communications, step‑by‑step how‑tos and patient support, advising gradual design changes to reduce member anxiety. The transition went smoothly, members reported being much happier on the new platform, and the network maintained momentum — building on early milestones (1,000 members after the 2013 summit) toward roughly 4,000 members and plans for 50–60 new local groups — while preserving daily digests, resource centers and project work.
