A Crowdoscope Case Study
Penguin Random House wanted to evaluate the success of its annual sales conference and capture ideas from delegates on how future conferences could be improved. Because more than 1,000 people attended, traditional face-to-face research was not practical, so the company turned to Crowdoscope to gather feedback while the event was still fresh in attendees’ minds.
Using Crowdoscope’s platform, Penguin Random House invited participants to submit their own suggestions, have them assessed by others, and rank them by usefulness. The approach surfaced the top themes and ideas in real time, helped participants see how their views compared with colleagues, and gave the team validated input to build an action plan. The results were used to reshape the annual sales conference into an event attendees would look forward to, with the most viable suggestions already tested by the community.
