Case Study: Pushbullet achieves localization in 30+ languages with Crowdin

Pushbullet easily made its app available in 30 languages and organized translation work of large crowdsourced project using Crowdin

Pushbullet, the popular cross-device notification and file-sync app, needed to make its interface available in users’ native languages and organize a large crowdsourced translation effort while fitting localization into its development workflow. To solve this, Pushbullet chose Crowdin’s localization management platform to invite contributors, manage translations, and integrate localized strings across Android, iOS, Mac, and browser platforms.

Using Crowdin’s collaborative tools (link-based project invites, proofreader mode, voting, and automated string pulls), Pushbullet built and managed a volunteer translation team and streamlined updates into its codebase. With Crowdin, Pushbullet localized the app into more than 30 languages, translated over 5,000 words, and improved translation quality and workflow efficiency across its platforms.
