TOG Knives used Crowdcube to raise growth capital for its mission to create the world’s best kitchen knife, combining modern design with traditional samurai swordsmith craftsmanship. After two years of product development and a clear plan to expand, founder Bert Beagley-Brown turned to crowdfunding to help fund the next stage of the business.

With Crowdcube, TOG Knives launched a campaign that reached its £100,000 target in just 12 hours and ultimately raised £191,620 from 293 investors. The campaign generated 10,087 pitch views and helped TOG Knives fast-track two new knife designs, increase stock, launch a new website, and plan for 14 new products over the next three years.
