Holland Alexander wanted to create a simple pocket guide for Venturefest East Midlands 2015 that would give delegates easy access to event information and help them engage before, during, and after the event. CrowdCompass implemented the event app as “Your pocket companion for Venturefest East Midlands,” giving attendees personalized agendas, speaker and exhibitor profiles, maps, notes, room booking, and voting for the Next Generation Competition. The result was a highly engaged attendee base, significant paper savings, and a more efficient event experience for Holland Alexander, with the app meeting the organizers’ goal of replacing printed materials with an easy-to-use digital guide.
