Making Change Easy With The Event App

The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) used Crowdcomms’ mobile event app for its 2015 annual conference, but the team needed help introducing new features such as live polling. The AFA CEO was initially resistant and thought the app was “too hard,” so the event organiser needed a way to make sure attendees were comfortable with the change.

Crowdcomms provided an on-site technical expert, or App Concierge, to support app downloads, explain the features, and help with live polling. The app doubled uptake rates, 6-8 older members only needed a little help, sponsor pages received over 45,500 views, and the AFA used the app to collect CPD points and gather immediate speaker feedback instead of relying on paper surveys.
