Kapsch TrafficCom, a provider of intelligent transportation systems, needed a scalable and sustainable way to automate testing for its next-generation free-flow tolling system, including the Phoenix Project’s Customer Back Office CRM. Crowdar supported the initiative with its test automation framework and an agile approach to help deliver automation as part of the overall tolling solution.

Crowdar assembled QA automation specialists to build an initial MVP in three months, then trained Kapsch TrafficCom’s new automation team on test automation techniques and Agile methods. Using Java, Selenium, JBehave, Jenkins, and BDD practices, the combined team established the automation foundation for Phoenix and has since automated 500+ test scenarios over a one-year engagement while strengthening Kapsch TrafficCom’s internal automation capabilities.
