Case Study: Gire achieves automated monthly regression testing with Crowdar

Gire, the company behind the Rapipago platform, needed a way to run full regression testing on its Java Swing-based payments and collections system while also validating new collection services each month. With more than 3,000 collection points to support and frequent releases, manual QA could not keep up. Crowdar helped address this challenge with an automated testing approach for Rapipago.

Crowdar first delivered a proof of concept using BDD with JBehave and a Java connector to integrate the Rapipago platform, proving the solution could automate testing successfully after prior attempts had failed. Crowdar then implemented the automation platform in Gire’s infrastructure, enabling daily compilation and execution of tests, bug reporting, and statistics generation. The project ran for 6 months and included knowledge transfer to Gire’s QA team, helping them take the first step toward continuous integration and improving their automation capabilities.
