Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council - Customer Case Study

Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council (MCHC) is a membership and service association for more than 150 hospitals and healthcare organizations in the Chicago area. To help members handle the Illinois Healthcare Worker Background Check Act, MCHC needed a faster way to collect new hire fingerprints without requiring employees to travel to an offsite agency.

MCHC chose the Crossmatch Guardian Livescan fingerprint system, which lets member hospitals capture and submit fingerprints onsite and send properly formatted files to the Illinois State Police. With Crossmatch, MCHC has processed over 120,000 new hire fingerprint background checks, and clearance time has been reduced from one week to one day.
