Motorola Solutions Blended Online Learning Solution to Develop Leaders

Motorola Solutions, a Chicago-based provider of mission-critical communications for first responders, needed to roll out a new People First leadership framework to roughly 2,500 front-line managers worldwide within a six- to eight-month timeframe. The Talent Development team required a mobile, easy-to-use, consistent learning experience with social collaboration; they partnered with CrossKnowledge to deliver the program using the CrossKnowledge platform and the blended People First Academy.

CrossKnowledge built a blended online solution—People First Academy—featuring bite-size video lessons from its library, social collaboration, feedback and gamification; the platform was rolled out in about three months. The CrossKnowledge solution engaged 2,400+ active users and achieved a 94.7% completion rate within six months, with 95%+ saying the platform was easy to navigate, over 90% finding the content helpful, and four out of five calling the course a worthwhile use of time.
