How Dimensions Prepared Care Workers for COVID-19

Dimensions, a not-for-profit care organisation of around 7,000 employees across England and Wales, faced the sudden loss of classroom training at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown and needed to rapidly move essential courses — including a new isolation care course — into a digital format. They worked with CrossKnowledge (leveraging the BlendedX platform and support from CrossKnowledge consultants) to ensure care workers could continue to access vital training remotely.

Using CrossKnowledge’s BlendedX platform, Dimensions’ L&D team converted existing resources to digital delivery and created an isolation care course in just one week using pandemic-response guidance and workforce feedback. The CrossKnowledge-supported solution made training more learner-centric, enabled rapid feedback collection to identify gaps, helped colleagues change practices and feel safer, and Dimensions even shared the digital course free with other organisations.
