Digital Learning Supports Corporate Values at Alstom

Alstom launched the AIR (Agile. Inclusive. Responsible.) corporate values program and faced the challenge of getting the majority of its roughly 40,000 employees to understand and adopt those values in about five months. To reach diverse, global teams while respecting health and ethical constraints, Alstom needed a digital, user-friendly, culturally inclusive learning solution and partnered with CrossKnowledge, using the CrossKnowledge platform, MyLearning app and a blended learning path to deliver the program.

CrossKnowledge implemented a customized digital learning experience—personalized homepages, a gamified points-and-badges system (convertible to donations), mobile access and blended paths—rolled out in just two months with local Learn & Share support. In the first five months (Jan–May 2020) the program reached 26,000 learners who logged over 80,000 hours of learning, generated €35,000 in NGO donations, and drove strong country-level engagement (top teams: India, Belgium, Switzerland), demonstrating measurable cultural adoption and social impact through CrossKnowledge’s solution.
