A CrossKnowledge Case Study
Ricoh Americas Corporation, a $22bn global business with about 30,000 employees in the U.S., Canada and Latin America, needed to shift the mindset of 600 leaders and 3,000 managers to support a strategic move toward client-driven solutions and information mobility. To strengthen leadership development with a more collaborative, seamless digital learning experience, Ricoh engaged CrossKnowledge to deliver digital leadership programs, including the Leadership Connection program and a customized learning portal.
CrossKnowledge implemented the Leadership Connection—pairing one senior leader with five junior leaders through monthly workshops, weekly CrossKnowledge content emails, a dedicated learning path and a social knowledge community—plus a customized portal mapping courses to Ricoh’s competency model and short expert videos aligned to transformation themes. The initiative reached 3,700 employees, produced a sevenfold increase in self-directed learners, and established 125 user groups with active discussions, demonstrating measurable improvements in collaboration and learning engagement driven by CrossKnowledge.
