gebana, an organization with a long-standing commitment to fair trade and organic produce, faced challenges with poor data monitoring and management for its global operations. This manual, paper-based system led to data inconsistencies and difficulties in pre-financing growers and managing warehouses. To address this, gebana partnered with CropIn to implement its SmartFarm solution.

CropIn provided a centralized platform that digitized gebana’s farming operations, including over 33,000 hectares and impacting nearly 7,700 farmers across Togo and Burkina Faso. The solution delivered 100% data digitization, providing real-time visibility and traceability from pre-sowing to harvest. This enabled gebana to streamline its certification programs, improve decision-making, and strengthen its sustainable value chains.
