Cropin partnered with Jeevika, a World Bank-backed rural livelihoods initiative in Bihar, to address systemic challenges in agriculture. The project faced a lack of digitized farm records, limited access to localized advisories, and the difficulty of monitoring scattered smallholder farms, all while needing to scale support for thousands of women-led producer groups with field teams unfamiliar with technology.

Cropin implemented a digital intelligence system using its SmartFarm platform, customized for local use. The solution digitized farms across 12 districts, delivered mobile advisories, enabled remote crop monitoring via satellite and AI, and trained field personnel. This empowered over 10,000 women farmers with enhanced knowledge, improved crop planning and pest management, and set a digital benchmark for women-led agricultural transformation in the region.
