Awba, Myanmar’s largest manufacturer and distributor of agrochemicals, needed to improve low farmer engagement and loyalty, better manage dealers, and help farmers gain the right crop protection and crop nutrition knowledge. The company partnered with CropIn and used its SmartFarm and SmartSales products to support its digital farming and sales operations.
With CropIn’s SmartFarm, Awba digitized demo plots and farmer data, while SmartSales helped them manage sales channels, dealers, and field teams more effectively. The solution enabled geo-tagged sales point visibility, tracking of payment history and credit limits, benchmarking of dealer performance, and targeted farmer engagement; as a result, Awba digitized 56,228 plots and 7,26,182 acres, impacted 48,604 farmers, and significantly improved management efficiency and sales leads.
