TimeTap, a scheduling platform, sought to enhance its service by offering users real-time synchronization with their calendars. While an integration with Google Calendar existed, they needed expertise to connect with other major providers like Exchange, Office 365, and Outlook.com. Building and maintaining these two-way sync features in-house would have been a lengthy development task, prompting them to seek a partnership with Cronofy and its Calendar API.

Using the Cronofy Calendar API, TimeTap implemented a solution that allows users to sync their chosen calendar in real-time. This ensures the scheduler displays true availability and automatically updates the synced calendar with new appointments, eliminating the risk of double-bookings. The solution from Cronofy enabled TimeTap to offer full calendar sync to a global customer base, no matter their calendar provider.
