The Minnesota Timberwolves sought to bring the same energy from the arena into their sales office by improving CRM adoption and motivating their sales team. VP of Sales & Service Corey Breton and Senior Database Coordinator Taylor Pope wanted a fun, multimedia way to recognize reps — complete with music, photos and on-screen celebration — to encourage timely CRM data entry and boost sales culture.
They implemented Hurrah! Leaderboard rather than building a tool in-house; the system plays a rep’s walk-up song and displays their photo and metrics on the big screen when a sale is made. The rollout quickly raised team energy, increased friendly competition, improved CRM adoption and the availability of actionable data, and proved easy for managers to customize and maintain.
