The Charlotte Hornets, led in analytics by Director Chris Zeppenfeld, had a strong CRM and a motivated sales team but lacked a simple way to make performance metrics visible outside the system. With dashboards buried in CRM, management wanted an ESPN-style ticker to boost transparency, keep staff focused on priorities, and drive accountability across the organization.
They implemented Hurrah! Leaderboard from CRMGamified, which pulls live CRM data into gamified leaderboards shown on office screens and in CRM. The tool enabled immediate recognition, easier CRM adoption, and rapid creation of custom metrics (for example, tracking high-value appointments by rep).
