A CriticalArc Case Study
FCC Group, a global provider of environmental services and infrastructure with operations in over 35 countries, needed a reliable way to protect expatriate employees and their families working across diverse jurisdictions, languages and security arrangements. Facing incidents that could quickly escalate (for example road accidents or interactions with local authorities) and widely dispersed security assets, FCC turned to CriticalArc’s SafeZone mobile/web platform to provide multinational safeguarding and mass communications.
CriticalArc deployed SafeZone in an initial three settings — the FAST consortium Riyadh Metro project, FCC projects in Egypt and a 600 km gas pipeline in North Mexico — integrating alerts with FCC’s 24/7 global security centre in Madrid, adding asset-mapping and an automated escalation path to regional and global teams. The CriticalArc solution gives FCC one global system for expatriates, real-time location sharing and incident-vs-asset maps, increasing situational awareness and speeding response times.
