Vishay's Passives, a division of the Fortune 100 company Vishay, faced significant internal complexity due to its growth through acquisition. This resulted in a highly diverse and complex IT landscape with over 50 legacy systems across its manufacturing operations. To address this challenge, Vishay selected Critical Manufacturing and its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to standardize processes and become more cost-effective.

The solution implemented by Critical Manufacturing involved replacing the numerous legacy systems with a single, unified MES platform. This implementation at a multi-plant facility has helped Vishay become more efficient and accelerate its progress toward Industry 4.0. The Critical Manufacturing MES provides core functionality and can also replace systems for quality, scheduling, and maintenance.
