Greenfield Speed to MES Delivers First Round Win

HT Micron, a new greenfield semiconductor back-end facility in São Leopoldo, Brazil, needed an MES fast to qualify for Tier 1 international customers and to meet Brazilian packaging/test regulations despite limited local semiconductor MES experience. To meet that urgent business need, HT Micron selected Critical Manufacturing and its modern MES (cmNavigo/core MES platform) to deliver rapid speed-to-market.

Critical Manufacturing implemented a core MES using out‑of‑the‑box traceability, enforced routings, SPC and reporting, installing the software between Oct 1 and Nov 30, 2014, training staff in December and tracking all production from Jan 1, 2015. The deployment enabled HT Micron (and sister company Teikon) to support volume production of millions of pieces per month, remove manual Excel processes, satisfy Tier 1 auditor requirements, improve quality and response time, and create a phased foundation for further MES expansion.
