Illy, the Italian premium coffee brand, was working to grow its U.S. grocery presence and needed better visibility into inventory, orders, and sales across its distribution network. To support this effort, the team onboarded Crisp to help track supply levels and improve demand planning with UNFI and retail partners.
With Crisp, Illy gained day-to-day insight into “inventory on hand by DC,” allowing the sales team to manage stock, spot voids, and address out-of-stock issues before they became larger problems. The result was a 10% increase in retail business, up to 10 weeks of DC inventory, fewer shelf gaps in Southern California, and a stronger partnership with UNFI buyers.
