Carbone Fine Food, the jarred pasta sauce brand from Michelin-acclaimed chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi, needed a smarter way to scale beyond restaurants and grow retail distribution. To help reach its goal of expanding into 20,000 store locations, the brand turned to Crisp and its data dashboards to support sales with key distributors like KeHE.
Using Crisp’s KeHE dashboards and distribution tools, Carbone identified out-of-stock issues, targeted understocked warehouses, and made stronger cases for larger purchase orders. The result was an 86% increase in distribution through KeHE, a 189% jump in overall sales with KeHE, a 10% improvement in fill rate to 92% on average, and an estimated $500,000 saved in avoided out-of-stocks.
