Safety iPass Simplifies Reporting for Administrators

The Academy of the Holy Names, an all-girls Catholic high school in Albany, NY serving 212 students and 56 staff, needed a reliable way to resume in-person instruction safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. To meet state requirements for screening and reporting and to prevent classroom outbreaks, the school selected CrisisGo’s Safety iPass to streamline daily health checks and entry verification.

CrisisGo implemented Safety iPass so parents complete a morning health questionnaire and students receive a color-coded badge scanned at the door, reducing entry backups and ensuring only cleared individuals enter. Administrators use the CrisisGo dashboard to adjust questionnaires, track symptoms and positive cases even when remote, and produce state-mandated reports quickly; the school reports only one student-related shift to remote learning since implementation, and staff say reporting has become “seamless” while improving the community’s sense of safety.
