Rolling Out a Unified Safety Platform to 20+ Districts

Berks County Intermediate Unit, an educational service agency supporting 18 public school districts and about 50 non-public schools, needed a single system to strengthen emergency preparedness and streamline safety communication and protocols. To meet that need, the Berks County Intermediate Unit selected CrisisGo and its safety communication platform to provide a unified approach across districts and schools.

CrisisGo implemented a grant-funded, single safety platform that gives staff instant access to safety information, a consistent line of emergency communication, and ways to connect with first responders; 25 districts have implemented or are in the process of implementing CrisisGo. Leaders at Berks County Intermediate Unit report improved communication across administrations and increased emergency readiness as a direct result of the CrisisGo deployment.
