Case Study: City of Marion achieves streamlined emergency communication and faster response with CrisisGo

A CrisisGo Case Study

Preview of the The City of Marion Case Study

Maintaining Municipality Safety With Streamlined Communication

The City of Marion needed a streamlined, reliable way to connect municipal departments, supervisors, first responders and public venues during emergencies. Since 2018 The City of Marion has been using CrisisGo’s digital safety platform to centralize safety communications, run emergency drills and provide a single channel for alerts across police, dispatch, SWAT and other groups.

CrisisGo implemented a group-based alerting system that lets dispatchers and witnesses send one initial message to all relevant teams instantly, waking personnel and getting information out faster. The City reports that CrisisGo provides the crucial first two to three minutes of notification that can save lives, improves coordination across police, fire, schools and public facilities, and is now being expanded to libraries, schools and other community sites.
