How Morgan County Charter School System improved their safety accountability and access to safety plans by using our school safety app

Morgan County Charter School System, a public district in Madison, GA (customer since 2018), relied on physical binders, PA announcements, and paper-based evacuation methods and sought a more accessible way to improve school safety amid rising active-shooter concerns. They engaged CrisisGo and its safety platform — including the Check In tool, digital panic button and Alert features — to put emergency plans and communications directly in staff members’ hands.

CrisisGo delivered digital access to emergency plans, a panic button, Check In accountability and shared school maps for first responders, enabling rapid accounting for staff and students during drills and emergencies. According to Safety Coordinator Dusty Hawkins, CrisisGo has significantly improved safety accountability and made staff and parents feel safer, with the Check In feature singled out as vital for ensuring every student and staff member is accounted for.
