A CrisisGo Case Study

How CrisisGo is a Daily Tool for Efficient Communication

Marshall School, a single Pre K–12 school in Duluth, MN serving about 500 students, lacked an effective emergency communication system and found its SIS too clunky for fast mass notifications. After past incidents highlighted the need to systematize emergency response and communicate with families, dorm residents, coaches and off‑site groups, Marshall selected CrisisGo’s emergency communication platform (messaging, drills, roster and mobile app) to centralize and simplify its safety workflows.

CrisisGo was implemented with hands‑on support from an account manager and has been adopted for daily messaging, required drills, roster access on field trips, and reunification planning via webinars and resources. Marshall reports that their safety planning “has increased tenfold,” now runs all mandated drills through CrisisGo, uses SMS for immediate alerts like snow-day notices, and keeps staff informed via the easy mobile UI—delivering faster, more reliable communication and sustained adoption of CrisisGo across the school.
