Empowering Marion Independent School District with Real-Time Crisis Response and Communication

Marion Independent School District (MISD), a six‑building district serving 3,100 students, faced the challenge of putting up‑to‑date safety procedures and real‑time alerts into the hands of every staff member. Technology Director Peggy Murphy selected CrisisGo’s safety platform—paired with FrontRow wearable mic/panic devices—to replace static flip charts and create a single, accessible system for checklists, alerts, and drill management (MISD has been a CrisisGo customer since March 2024).

CrisisGo implemented an integrated solution (linked to the district SIS) that delivered role‑based rosters, preset alerts, step‑by‑step checklists, and drill/reunification tools, while FrontRow wearables added a wearable panic option. With CrisisGo’s grant support MISD secured a COPS grant covering 75% of costs and funded three years of the service; the result has been faster, more confident staff responses, a stronger safety culture, and increased community trust.
