Safety iPass Helps Daycares Follow Protocols in a Midwest Winter

Toddler Town Daycare, a fully licensed daycare center in Chicago and Evanston, needed a safer, more sustainable way to handle daily health screenings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because staff had been doing manual temperature checks and parent check-ins at the door, the process created lines, required someone to stand outside in the winter, and wasn’t ideal for social distancing.

Toddler Town implemented CrisisGo’s Safety iPass to let parents complete daily health screenings at home and receive a QR code for quick drop-off scanning. CrisisGo’s solution helped Toddler Town speed up check-in, keep sick children home, improve staff safety, and better comply with DCFS protocols by documenting check-in and check-out data. The daycare also reported stronger parent confidence, with some families returning because the process showed they were taking safety seriously.
