A Crises Control Case Study
Leading Financial Services Provider, a firm with 400 employees based at its London City HQ and staff travelling across Europe and the wider EMEA region, faced the challenge of quickly notifying and accounting for employees during critical incidents such as severe weather and terrorist attacks. To meet this need they deployed the Crises Control cloud-hosted incident notification platform, using multi-channel alerts (email, SMS, phone and push) to warn staff on site or on the move and to collect location and acknowledgment responses.
Crises Control’s platform — including its Incident module and Ping Message acknowledgment feature — was used during multiple real incidents (notably the London Bridge attack in June 2017 and the Munich shooting in July 2016) and in regular six‑monthly HQ evacuation drills, enabling rapid, clear communications and fast employee confirmations of safety. Onboarding was quick, administrators found the system intuitive, and Crises Control’s ongoing account support and 24/7 helpdesk helped the organisation reliably reach and account for its people across EMEA.
