A CrimsonLogic Case Study
The Ministry of Planning and Development in Trinidad and Tobago faced a lengthy and inefficient manual process for construction permits, involving over 25 government agencies and 14 municipal corporations. This paper-based system, with 16 separate procedures handled sequentially, resulted in application processing times of over 200 business days. To address this challenge, the Ministry partnered with vendor CrimsonLogic to implement the DevelopTT digital platform.
CrimsonLogic's solution, DevelopTT, is a centralized digital system that automates the permit application and approval process, enabling simultaneous processing by multiple agencies and eliminating paper-based submissions. The results were significant, drastically reducing permit processing times, increasing transparency, and improving the overall ease of doing business. The implementation by CrimsonLogic provided greater access to e-services, increased convenience for applicants, and created a more efficient and transparent experience for all stakeholders.
