GasyNet - Customer Case Study

Malagasy Community Network Services S.A. (GasyNet), a public-private partnership for Madagascar's customs administration, faced the challenge of modernizing trade processes. Their key challenge was successfully integrating a new solution with their existing legacy customs system, ASYCUDA++, to create a hybrid system that would streamline declarations and data sharing. To address this, they partnered with vendor CrimsonLogic.

CrimsonLogic implemented its TradeNet electronic trade solution to integrate with the legacy system, creating a single online platform connecting various trade entities. This solution substantially improved cargo clearance times from over 15 days to less than 5 days, which led to increased trade volumes and a 50% increase in customs revenue. Furthermore, the project helped improve Madagascar's World Bank Doing Business ranking for trading across borders from 143rd to 109th.
