Hyde Community College lifts one student above target in 8 subjects with Crick Software

Hyde Community College, a further education institution, utilized Crick Software's Clicker program to support students with special educational needs (SEN). The challenge was to help these students, particularly one year 9 boy with ADHD, learning difficulties, and behavioral problems, to better engage with the curriculum and improve their focus and conduct in class.

The solution from Crick Software, Clicker, was implemented across the curriculum. It provided tools for word processing and creating mind maps, which significantly boosted student confidence and independence. The results were exceptional; the highlighted student's behavior improved immensely at school and home, and he became a peer trainer. Most notably, the measurable impact was that this student rose above his target level in eight of his subjects, demonstrating the profound success of Crick Software's product.
