Great Barr Primary School - Customer Case Study

Great Barr Primary School is a primary school with a resource base for physically disabled children, including many students with cerebral palsy. The school’s challenge was helping pupils with fine motor and processing difficulties participate more independently in class, reduce reliance on teacher aides and scribes, and support writing across different age groups.

Crick Software’s Clicker 7, along with the Clicker Sentences iPad app, gave students tools such as sentence generation, speech feedback, and the Predictor word support to write independently. As a result, one third-grade student moved away from constant TA support to working alongside peers, kindergartners could write without scribes, and staff saw stronger inclusion, confidence, and much longer pieces of written work. Crick Software helped the school create greater independence and measurable progress in classroom participation and output.
