Forehill Primary School - Customer Case Study

Forehill Primary School, where Student Support Teacher Jacqui Rodger works with children in grades 2–5 who have literacy difficulties, dyslexia, autism, and other learning needs, had a challenge supporting reluctant writers and helping students keep up with handwritten homework. The school used Crick Software’s Clicker for years and upgraded to Clicker 7 Unlimited OneSchool/Site License, partly to support home use and improve writing access for struggling learners.

With Crick Software’s Clicker 7, Forehill Primary School introduced mind mapping, spell checking, Clicker Boards, Word Banks, and Voice Notes to help students plan, spell, organize ideas, and independently revise work. The result has been greater engagement, improved confidence, faster and more accurate writing, and stronger participation from students who previously avoided writing; one child with autism became notably more motivated and involved in class discussions, and the educational psychologist was impressed by the change.
