Colindale Primary School was looking for a more effective way to support literacy development across the school, especially for students with dyslexia, EAL/ELL learners, intervention groups, and reluctant writers. After previewing Crick Software’s Clicker 7, the inclusion leader saw its potential as a whole-school literacy tool rather than just a special education resource.

Crick Software’s Clicker 7 was implemented as a sitewide solution, with use in literacy lessons, topic work, planning, mind mapping, writing support, and home access for students. The school reported stronger independence and confidence among learners, especially two boys with dyslexia who could now produce writing without adult support and finish 20 minutes of writing with something to show. Overall, Crick Software helped make writing more accessible, engaging, and differentiated for all students.
