TransUnion, a global information and insights company, needed a way to manage billions of log events a day across a complex, fast-changing environment with a small team. The company worked with Cribl and its LogStream product to handle high-volume logging, onboard many data sources, and route data in different formats for multiple internal customers without adding more agents or collectors.

With Cribl LogStream, TransUnion transformed and rerouted data on the fly, filtered out uninteresting traffic, and extracted only the fields needed for faster analysis. The results included reducing high-volume DNS and Sysmon data from about 1TB per day to 150GB, cutting Windows Event Log clutter, reducing AWS VPC Flow Log costs, and saving a significant amount in licensing costs in just 30 minutes.
