SwissLos, a Swiss lottery company offering lotteries, sports bets, and instant tickets, was struggling with rapidly growing log volumes from Kubernetes-based applications, especially WAF and web logs. To keep the platform performant while avoiding rising tooling costs and complexity, SwissLos turned to Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge.

With Cribl, SwissLos filtered, sampled, enriched, and routed data before sending it to Splunk, while also using Cribl Edge to simplify Kubernetes log collection. The results included a 35% reduction in Kubernetes cluster growth, more than 50% less WAF and web log data, 3-5x faster admin work, improved Splunk performance, and a 95% reduction in MTTR.
