Cribl Paves The Way As Miax Expands State-of-the-art Exchange Offerings

MIAX, a multi-exchange operator in the US, needed a better way to manage the growing volume and variety of event data generated as it expanded new options and cash equity exchanges. The team was using Splunk for monitoring and APM-like visibility, but needed a more flexible way to pre-filter, shape, and enrich data before sending it downstream. Cribl LogStream was brought in to help control spikes and reduce unnecessary log volume.

With Cribl LogStream, MIAX was able to drop unneeded events, edit and test data transformations in real time without restarts, and copy YAML-based configurations across exchanges with ease. Cribl also helped MIAX enrich logs with additional metadata, giving support teams more context upfront and making them faster and more self-reliant. The result was a lower-cost, more scalable observability pipeline that improved alerting, triage, and issue resolution across all MIAX exchanges.
