Accuhealth, a remote patient monitoring provider, needed a way to deliver fast, accurate patient sensor data to medical practices of all sizes while keeping the experience simple for clinicians and meeting data retention requirements. The company turned to Cribl LogStream to help process, enrich, and prepare its medical sensor data for search and analysis in Splunk.

With Cribl LogStream, Accuhealth preprocessed data for much faster search performance, retained full copies of required data in a separate storage location, and kept clinician workflows uncluttered. The results were significant: searches became one-fifth the size and ran 10x to 100x faster, while cloud compute savings exceeded a year’s worth of storage and Splunk license costs each month. Cribl also helped Accuhealth scale its platform dramatically, with the company saying it can now support up to 100 million patients on a single deployment.
