Urbantech, a Toronto-based civil engineering consulting firm, needed a long-term workplace solution to attract and retain talent for the next 20+ years. After ad hoc growth left their office inefficient, Urbantech engaged Cresa (Cresa Toronto) to assess their workforce, business objectives and office requirements using services such as location strategy, workplace intelligence, transaction management and interior design.

Cresa conducted a comprehensive review, negotiated lease options, and brought its in-house design team to develop and implement a new concept; the result was a relocation to approximately 11,000 sq. ft. at 3760 14th Avenue. By working with Cresa, Urbantech gained a modern, collaborative workplace close to the 407, exterior corporate branding opportunities, and a space aligned with its client, employee and corporate-responsibility goals.
