Sun Valley Rice, an agricultural company in Sacramento, engaged Cresa to relocate multiple office functions from a rural corporate headquarters about 50 miles from downtown into a more central, modern suburban location. The challenge was to identify space within five miles of the CBD (while surveying lower‑cost options farther out), consolidate staff, and create an urban office feel in a suburban setting to retain existing employees and attract new talent. The result was a newly designed central workplace with an urban feel; Sun Valley Rice consolidated into 6,933 rentable sq. ft. and then expanded by 2,201 rentable sq. ft. for a total of 9,134 rentable sq. ft., outcomes the company says exceeded expectations.
