Southern Tire Mart engaged Michael Bennett and Jim Bob Taylor, Vice Presidents of Industrial Services at Cresa, to manage a critical relocation and expansion. STM needed to double the size of its facility, relocate within three miles to retain its existing workforce, and find a landlord willing to allow truck maintenance and tire changing inside the building and truck court.

Using Cresa’s Occupier-Only Proposal Process and transaction management expertise, Michael and Jim Bob leveraged market knowledge to create competition among landlords and negotiate favorable terms. Cresa secured STM’s preferred site over a national credit tenant, doubling the footprint and truck court to a 67,000 sq. ft. facility located within two miles of the original location—achieving the expansion target and avoiding any employee loss.
