Health Resources in Action, a well-established Boston nonprofit, faced relocation after its long-term 16,000 SF space was slated for redevelopment. The organization wanted to stay downtown in a historically significant, transit-accessible building with budget-sensitive rent and a more efficient, modern office to revitalize corporate culture. Cresa led the engagement, providing Transaction Management and Project Management to manage the search and move.

Cresa identified a 14,007 SF space in the China Trade Center, negotiated a 15-year below-market lease with a substantial tenant allowance and committed base-building/common-area improvements, and right-sized the layout—reducing square footage by 13% while accommodating increased headcount. The project was delivered on time and under budget, resulting in an open, light-filled full-floor office that improved employee well-being and reduced operating footprint.
